Crime Rate: An Introduction

Welcome to Crime Rate! Here, I rate crime -- hence the name. We've all heard about murders and killings, but there has never been an objective rating system for those violent crimes. I'm here to change that. Crimes will be reviewed and rated using 5 criteria (there are definitely only 5 important factors in crime). The ratings are my opinion and purely subjective -- thus very inconsistent. If you disagree, feel free to let me know what your rating is in the comments of the post. Now, let's get into how I will be rating the crimes.

Victimology: --/20

Who was killed? Who were they in life? What was their job? How old were they? Were they married? Kids?

Modus Operandi: --/20

How did the killer kill? Why do they kill in that way? What is their "signature"?

Motive: --/20

Why did the killer kill? Was it revenge or indiscriminate murder?

Justice: --/20

Was the killer caught? If so, how long were they imprisoned for? Did they commit any other acts while in prison?

X-factor: --/20

There is where we get to see the killer's flair. What sets them apart from the hundreds of other generic murders? How do they inject their personality into their crimes?
