Crime Rate: An Update
Here we are 4 weeks into the blog project. I've review two killers and I think we should do a quick analysis of where the blog is.
The first post was beautiful. It was well written (in my opinion) and quite intricate and detailed... but a little too much so. I have to admit that I spent way too long on that first post. Now let's travel to my second post.
The second post was on the exact opposite side of the spectrum. Knowing I had put too much effort into the first one, I put much less into my second -- to the point where I now feel like the second post is way too lacking.
My goal for week 5 is to strike that balance between too much and too little. It remains to be seem how well I can actually execute this.
Now, I would like to shout out a blog. Mariam's Reconnecting With My Indian Roots, Through Food blog has been a particularly interesting read for me, especially because I had the opportunity to eat one of her creations. While the spices weren't my cup of tea, it was a wonderful moment being about to actually experience something that I had read on her blog. Good stuff.
Every blog that I have read so far has been an absolute joy. I love seeing everyone's unique perspectives and writing styles and I've just overall really enjoyed looking around.
Does anyone have any suggestions for criminals I could cover? I have a good idea of some but I want to know what the masses are into nowadays. Let me know if you have any favorites. :)
