Crime Rate: The End

I'll be honest. I was not expecting the blog to go this way.

For those of you not in 7th period, this blog idea came after multiple colorful discussions about murder and serial killing resulting from my group's book (In Cold Blood). So when we started the blog project, I thought to myself, "Hey, why not?" And here we are 8 weeks later.

Honestly, the hardest part of this blog has been trying to choose which killer to cover. What makes one more cover worthy than the other? At a certain point, all of the serial killers just start to blend into the same blob of just cruelty. It really is quite gross what these serial killers did and at a certain point I just want to stop reading about that crap.

Also, there's only so many unique comments I can make about each killer before I start running out of things to say. The point of the blog was to capture the satire of ranking such heinous crimes. It doesn't really work when I can't be creative and funny (I struggle already).

Also, my energy and motivation has really plummeted since Thanksgiving break. I guess that happens to everybody as they're waiting for winter break but trying to think of novel ideas is a struggle.

So I leave this blog with a rather disappointing post. I suppose this should have been my grandest post but I just can't find it in me. It was pretty fun while it lasted. I'll miss the random conversations on how to get away with murder or how I would personally murder someone. This project and class overall have been very fun overall. Thank you Dr. Moffitt for a crazy semester :)
